Tiny Labs Education Lead

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team of teachers and creators in charge of creating and developing content and materials

  • Support the project management and execution of a scalable version of kinderlabs

  • Involve a community of parents, teachers and kids in testing and revising content

  • Support teachers as they create content and material for the school year and for summer 

  • Review and edit materials in order to be aligned with the TIny Labs mission and Vision

  • Support and coach teachers

  • Provide onboarding and training/continuing development

  • Collate teacher deliverables - lesson plans, worksheets

  • Coordinate and collaborate with other teams (Marketing and Comms)

 

Qualifications

Knowledge of child development and growth mindset

3-5 years of experience teaching in person or online

Strong operational and project management skills

A progressive approach to learning - familiar with Montessori, Forest School, or Reggio Emilia methods and their benefits and limitations

2+ years experience managing and leading a team, working cross functionally and creating and evaluating systems in order to produce a product, event or a repeated / scaleable experience for kids and parents

Virtual Classroom Teacher

8 Open roles - part time and full time options available

Qualifications

Experience teaching in early childhood levels, in person and virtual

Ability to commit to a minimum of 4 online classes a month or roughly 8-10 classroom hours a week

A play based and progressive approach to learning 

Ability to start in April

Responsibilities

​ Provide age appropriate classroom instruction and leadership on assigned

teaching days

Manage the classroom in a manner that promotes a productive and warm learning environment

Maintain regular communications with Tiny Labs' education associate

Provide a class flow and outline of the materials that will be used in the class

Provide a teacher’s note to parents after every class to highlight what happened that day and reminders for take home work

Prepare class related worksheets/visuals, as needed

Summer Class Teacher

8 Open roles - part time options 

Work with us to execute classes. Depending on expertise and availability your classes may include, a partnership with a geo reserve, content from a popular children's museum, arts and crafts content 

or kids yoga. Most classes will have an existing framework and activities but we will rely on you to bring who you are as a teacher to each class. 

Qualifications

Experience teaching in early childhood levels, in person and virtual

Ability to commit to a minimum of 4 online classes a month or roughly 8-10 classroom hours a week

A play based and progressive approach to learning 

Ability to start in May or June

Needs will be for Toddler, PreK and Senior Pre K, indicate the age, availability, and topics you're interested in below
